No, they are just possibly switching owners and all this stuff..the rider rep from alloy sent me a e-mail saying to not beleive the rumor and stuff. Alloy is probably not going anywhere...alot of people buy that gear, and there are some pro's using it.

Is it all over for Alloy Motocross clothing? By: Garry Morrow as reported in : www.fullnoise.com.au/news/index.cfm?fuseaction=display_full&News_id=2057Thursday, 9th March, 2006 - - 2061 Reads - Alloy Motocross Co announced yesterday that it would be closing it's doors after only three years of operation. The company cited numerous obstacles including an overcrowded apparel market and distribution challenges for the reason to cease operations. Alloy's major American distributor, White Brothers, this year set it's sights firmly on it's own business of exhaust systems and backed of it's distributorships, this effected Alloy's flow into the market place which is believed to have had a big influence on the decision. Soon after the press release was issued by Alloy rumors began that talks where underway with various companies to by out the brand. Included in these rumors is the possibility of a management buy-out as well as interest from outside investors. As more information becomes available we will keep you posted. Australia's distibutor of Alloy clothing, Ficeda Accessories, are taking a wait and see apporach.

Hopefully they get a new owner or something...I really don't want to have to drop them as my sponsor..they all are really nice there and have awsome gear.

yeah i really doubt they will do that because look how many pro teams ride their gear. they dont seem to be having troulbe i mean look at answer and companies like that...they have far less gear out there than brand new Alloy.
Right after i posted this they took down that story and put up a new one talking about switching owners
