Roosting on some poor kid.

Me and some buds where riding years ago somewhere south of Moose Lake, MN. It was one of those early spring rides and the temps where real warm and the snow real soft like an icey.

Well all day we were roosting on each other. Gas it, whip the back end around a bit, and you could just roost on the guy behind you. I got it and gave it a few times during the day.

Anyway, we're passing through a small town out in the middle of hickesville. Out on the trail there's this young kid pull starting on some old '69 Ski-Doo bubble nose. You can see him from far away, and he's just pulling and pulling. I'm bringing up the rear and everyone in front of me passes him buy so I can't stop to help without being left behind. Besides, there's a gas station across the road and he couldn't of been too far from home.

Anyway, my buddy in front of me slowly goes by the kid and then you guessed it...he punches it, whips the back a bit and lays down the most perfect roost on this kid. I mean it was a tidle wave of wet sloppy snow. The kid just gets hammered while he's still pulling away on his sled. I will never see a more perfect roost on someone again.

I was laughing so hard I almost drove in the ditch.

It's merely a story that I sometimes recall with amusement, please don't read anymore into it then that. I'm sorry that you are so upset with it and I apologize if it was you that my buddy roosted on.

same here its funny that you roosted on some one but imagine some 12 yearold kid like crf50kid trying to get that old thing running then gettin plasterd with roost.......it still is rpetty funny though

haha I woulda done it just because i am a dickhead, but I also might have stopped to help him if it was really cold out and if it wasnt so close to town because then its kinda a dangerous thing to leave someone stranded ya know...but in this case the roost flew haha.

It wasn't that he couldn't pull it over, thing just wouldn't start. When I was your age (everyone rolls eyes ), those were the kind of sleds we rode. They left you stranded a lot and you wrenched more then you rode...and I wouldn't trade those days for anything.

sounds like twights sled last year..........that thing was a complet pile. i had to drve my van out into the feld and start it with eather. the rest of the day was fun though.
