well when u go into a corner u can go in a brake and whip it around and feather the clutch while doing that or u can find the best way for u all u need to do is just get comfy with ur bike and find the feel for it.

No do not feather the clutch, 4 strokes aren't designed to be feathered like Erik is talking about. Your bike is a trail bike..its not ment for racing so be glad its doing as well as it is because i doubt your going to get a whole lot more out of the low-end power. Just being realistic.

ya what MX585 is saying.... this is how it goes ok if u have like a yz250f its less shifting and u dont need to feather the clutch really at all b/c they have a ton of low end power and take off right away. if it is a 2 stroke then u need to feather it around pretty much every turn b/c they dont take off untill the power band hits. so the feathering keeps the RPM's up high in the 2 strokes so u get the kick right out of the corner. just get a feel for ur bike u will learn in time dont worry.

yeah and also you will burn up the clutch in about 5 minutes if you slip the clutch on a 4 smoke.

Yeah in ur 30 some horse powered 250F not in her 100 man...but yeah..i was like a grand from the rev. limiter..there is a reason for the limiter to limit u from doing damage...they wouldnt put it there if the damage was already done

Yeah i would think having a bald back tire would be good since then you would spin and keep the RPM's up better, but I guess it worked for you the other way around. Just a simple fact, don't slip the clutch on any manual transmissioned 4 stroke.
