i need your opinion, im getting a new bike and its going to either be a honda 85 expert or a yamaha 85, what do you guys think i should get? i have a honda 100 right now im getting serious about racing now and i need something taller and that is what both of these bikes have but what do you guys know about them?

Well the Honda Expert would be taller than the YZ85, but they are honestly about the same...I am a Yamaha guy and I love my 80 so I recommend the YZ, but its honestly your choice.

well if you want a bigger bike go with a cr 85 expert. im a yamaha guy but a cr 85 would be bigger if you want that but i also recomend a rm 85 expert there are one of the best 85s out there yz 85 are the best right now and rm's i read in a magazine are just as good i would go rm 85 expert but its all about feel.

Yeah I think all the companys are about the same for the 80 class, I haven't seen them make any changes to the bikes since 2001 when Kawasaki first came out with the 85.

yeah they are all about the same for length and stuff...the EXPERT model is basically a bigwheel version of the CR85

oh srry ya i found a 2001 honda 80 expert and its nice for only 1200...now i just have to sell the one that i have right now...let me know if your interested
