now i know most ove you people dont use the stuf very much but it works. it takes a litle time to use to seal right but its cheep and works good if you don have any oil on the mating surfices. i use the car quest high temp stuf. it works good for sealing the cases on the ke and i havnt had very much problem with oil lecage or the conpreson lekege( it has a copreson chanber below and around the crank for lube and air intake).

i wouldnt trust it on my bike...to expensive of a motor to be doing that...but if i had something smaller that wasnt as high compression and so much stress i would. I hear it does fine

you never use it for cylender gaskets unles u are using it as a adhesive to hold it in plce its more for seeling the transmison. my bike however has a conpreson chanber below the piston but its a snall enough gap to fill it dosnt blow out.

yeah i didnt specifically say the cylinder..you can use it on the backside of copper washers that you are spose to replace but nobody does, the oil line, and some of the bolts for the decompression.

gezz steatal down tayz...... im testing to see how well formagasket works as a head gasket on a 3 hp brigs. its my old go cart moter so it dont rily mater cus its almost shot. the valves have enough clerance to not run a regular head gasket so ill se what hapens once i get the carb put back together.

I love the stuff... Pro Chem makes some in a can like Cheese Whiz so you just hold down the spout to form your bead. They say you can use it to form a gasket but I've always just used it as a back up to the gasket.

ya i jist got a tube of the stuf for a calk gun from dap. i still havnt goten the carb straghtend out to test the 3hp with the formagasket head gasket.
