I figured it would be just like all the other greases for your bearing and stuff..but it is definatly better than the black sh!t you can buy. Its pretty cheap and is waterproof and wont thin out after hours of use.

your spose to use a special grease for your linkage and stuff like that though. Read up on your manual. That farm grease isn't good enough for all the jarring and pivoting your swingarm and bearing are put against. It will break down fairly fast and you will have dry linkage, which will lead to things breaking or seizing up. My linkage on my 80 broke because it wasnt greased by the previous owner. It wasnt good, all the linkage was jammed and my tire was touching the fender...and it was stuck like that.

I like the Bel Ray water proof grease as well, it stays there for a long time and doesnt wear away until you need it too and clean it off yourself, its great stuff!

ya you jist have to read the lables and figure out what they are intended for. some ar high temp some are water proof and some jist plane suck. a good multiperpous grade grease is what you want. becous its high temp and long lasting and most of the time its water prof.
