well went out in my garage today and wanted to ride the yz around for a little bit. so i kick it over starts first kick and then i squezze in my clutch and then i put it in gear and it dies. it was like if u dont sqezze in ur clutch and u push down the shifter it will die right away correct. this is what it was like but i squeezed in my clutch. i was just wondering if any of you would know what the problem is at alll thanks.

try reving it a little bit and if wants to take off when u put it in gear ur plates arnt disengaging.
I would check my slack and if that don't work your clutch basket is prolly notched and wont let the plates spread apart.

yeah it sounds like something to do with your clutch plates and/or your clutch basket is trashed, same thing happened to my cousins CR250 that he used to have.
