I stripped my swingarm, carb, shock and stuff off and let me tell you...its been more than a hand full to put everything back together..it gets boring. I greased my linkage,swingarm,headset,shockhousing, and wheel bearing. Cleaned the carb. Adjusted my valves again. Changed my oil and put a new oil filter in. Added Engine Ice.
Plenty of work

yeah my parents are trying to get me to get a job because i want a 50 and i want a new bike. I aint too worried about it, it will be nice to have some cash.

yea i need some $$ to beecasue the fossil is just worthless and i need to get a RM-Z 250 and a 50 so ill probabyl get a job this summer but till then ill ride my fossil to the grave

yep just finished! i would definatly suggest greasing your linkage and everything..my suspension is so smooth now.

i bet liek one of the first things im gunna do when i get my bike is (race bike)
1. ride it
2. change all oils in motor
3. grease evereything
4. put it back together
5. ride the fvck out of her
6. then find a cocky kid at school and whip his ass racin..lol

u think u had work...try putting it back together from the frame  nah it was all pretty simple work just a lot of differnt things to hook back up and set up and stuff...deffinitly worth it though |

you should have painted your frame while it was all disconnected. I cant imagine putting a whole bike back together..that would suck.

Ha. frome the frame is nothing try having to rebuild a bike frome 2 and making it work. thats how i have my bike(1974KE 100). I took two KEs the one had a bad moter and berings cuz the oil injecton got pluged and used the salvegable parts off that one to fix what my cousen broke on the one he gave me. i spent $160 on it so far but i didnt ajust the carb right so it ran leen and fryed the piston. so now it sits. ill see if i can git a pic of it posted under bikes.

yeah do that..i have never seen a piston so scratched and chipped..and it was a wisco one in there too.

If your willing/interested, I might be selling my SDG Speed Mini, but I'm not sure when. I only have about 6- 8 hours on it! Never jumped/raced it! Only used VERY high quality oil! Very well maintained! I'm not sure if/when I'm going to sell it, but if your interested, let me know and I will let you know when/if I'm going to sell it. Thanks. |
