College Laptops

hey guys im goin to be starting college this year (im still technically a senior in HS but im goin to be goin to college full time and the HS pays for it, im going to be just taking generals this year but next year id like to major in a motorcycle technician or in buiness). i need your advice on choice of laptops. which are going to last me longer and not be outta date within a year? i dont know a whole lot and ive done some research on the imac, dell, and gateway but dell and gateway's websites havent told me a whole lot....

My sister is going to college for nursing, and she went with the Dell. She really likes it and from my experience being on it..the thing is soo fast. You can dl abunch of songs and everything will still be super fast. Definatly don't go cheap when your getting a desktop, or laptop. The more they cost the better. More memory, etc.
