Howdy all,

I know I'm a bit older than most of you but I'm still into dirt bikes and anytime someone calls to ask if I'm up for a ride I answer, 'HELL YEAH !"

My first dirt bike was a BSA 175, it had a steel tank, twin rear shocks with about 3 inches of travel. My helmet was a open face Bell, my leathers/pants were made out of "real" leather and were hot and stunk !

Things have come a long way.
My current bike is a Cannondale E-440 with electric start and fuel injection. Damn shame they stopped making them.
I don't mx anymore (it hurts too much) but still trail ride a few times a week and run a couple enduros and hare scrambles a year (then spend a couple days recuperating)

Best piece of advice I can give you... WEAR THE GEAR !
That is if you want to still be able to move when your in your 40's.

Actually I was snooping around MX.com where I used to do alot of posting and chatting in their room many moons ago.
Someone had cross linked to a post here and I like the looked of this site. Did some digging and liked what I found so I thought I'd stick around.

awsome man...stick around...its not a super old forum...so more members and posters the better. There might be a www.hellyeahracing.com site in the future so that its not so hard to remember the link and stuff...we'll have to see I guess.
