I say the Yamaha because they are what I ride and they have been making the racing quad a little longer than the Honda I beleive.

i hve to say the yfz on just looks, because the way it sounds they are pretty similar down low but i dont no much about quads

i would vote for the trx. im for yamaha all the way, but their quads are straight junk. if i bought a 4wheeler instead of a bike, i would definately go honda. trust me, this isnt just my opinion, but the result of knowing a sh!tload of people nearby who ride & race quads & everything that has gone wrong with them. this is speaking about the newer quads, all manufacturers have good years & bad years with both 2 wheels and four, and the newer yamaha quads are piles, while the bikes remain good; kinda the opposite for honda, good quads, sh!tty bikes....

the two of them are pretty similar in comparison, but results dont lie, the yamahas have been dominating, but i think some of this comes from the fact that not very many people have the trx as opposed to the yfz....the honda was made to be a yfz killer but ended up to be pretty much the opposite........honda makes a good quad but if i had to put my money on one in a race it would sill go on the yamaha....

YFZ is said to be a better quad
even in all the mag shoot outs its ranked higher
but yeah i dont think yamaha quad reliablity is a strong point..my buddys who have owned yamie quads have blowen them all up and i ride harder then they do

Maintenence is the huge factor with that...maintain it and it will be good to you. Yamaha 4 stroke mx bikes are the most reliable motors...and the YFZ450 has the same motor pretty much as the YZ450F so I think your friends need to take better care of their stuff.

My buddy has a YFZ 450 and the thing is a beast!
It beat a Raptor 660R in a drag race up a steep ass sand hill and on a straight!
(note:the rider could have had somthing to do with it)

a yfz is litterly 10x the quad than a raptor. race suspension, better handling, wider, more HP,and most importantly.. it looks cooler. haha.

fvck the new sh!t my old mans 1986 suzukie ltz250 will kick anyones ass...BUT then again ANYONE that rides QUADS ARE PUSSYS......REALL MEN DONT NEED 4 WHEELS UNDER THEM
