I got a deal from powermadd where they send me free hand guards and mount kit. So I accepted and today I got them in the mail finally. The mount kit is really good quality and the guards are good looking unlike some other brands. If anyone needs any powermadd hanguards let me know(30% discounts)

hand guards are handguards as longs as they block that sh!t from hitting ur hands im fine.

I do agree bark busters are the best.... but you cant run them in MX.

they would look g@y as hell on an mx bike during a race...they are for TRAIL ONLY...KEEP THOSE OFF THE TRACK...even though it would be alot better the have a handlebar with that hit you...than just a plain handlebar i spose...

So you would rather have a crippled hand than have something on your bike that ain't "KEWL" Not to mention the possible expense of a brake or clutch lever. actually you cant run them because on the start peoples bars that dont have em get hooked in there and all hell breaks loose...... It has nothing to do with "KEWLNESS". If it had to do with "kewlness" there wouldnt be anything on the track besides suzuki!

yeah thats what I kind of was trying to get that and they really aren't needed because barkbusters are for woods and people that are next to tree's and stuff so your hand dont get crushed correct?

about the only difernce betwen bark busters and hand guards(aka roost gards) is that the bark busters have a pece of ether aluminum or steel going from the end of the bar around the levers back to the bars twards the center. i personly would rather have the bark busters cus they save your levers.

yeah barkbusters arnt for mx cool or not...i have even heard stories of them bending and ur handing gettting pinched in between

Yeah that would suck...I am cool without them...Travis you will need to get some Powermadd Handguards...i mean you can take them off and put them on bike after bike.
