Long, long ago... in a place far far away. I went on my first real hunt with my dad, and his friends Crazy Pete and fvck Face Eddie. We hunt up north alot different than down here. In the south they perch up in a tree and wait for the deer to come to them. Yankees on the other hand ain't got time to wait for a deer... they go into the woods and track them down , drive them towards their buddies waiting to ambush the stupid things. So me and the ol man were on ambush and Pete / Eddie were driving. Like I said this was my first outting with a adult gun ( 12 ga Mossberg w/ slugs) and the ol man's hunting buddies. Anyhow I'm on my point and trying to be as quite and still as a log, when Crazy Pete sneaks up behind me and scares the hell out of me. Well they all had a good laugh and went out to kill Bambi's daddy and its uncle if lucky. After about 2 hrs I hear something coming thur the brush to me right... I'm thinking its Pete screwing around again so I remain still and don'tmake a sound. Suddenly a beautyful 6 pointer crashes thur the brush and stops about 20 feet infront of me. We talking 6 points about 5 feet from tip to tip, a good 260 to 280 pounds of prime buck! Hes looking at me and I'm looking at him for what seemed liked many minutes but most likely was only a few seconds, suddenly he jumps over the end of the log I'm learning againest and runs towards the ol' man. I never even moved the gun... I never moved a muscle. I just sat there stareing at him.... I didn't get a buck for two years after that ! Oh and my dad and his buddies made sure everyone we knew on the CB radio heard about it.

I've used rifle, handgun, and shotgun. I've bought a muzzleloader but never used it hunting. Have thought about bow but havn't gotten into it yet but will say it is one of the most "pure" & difficult of the types of hunting. I've hunted for about 30 years and have taken down around 40 bucks & does. I've also hunted bear ... have killed two and been chased by two so I'm thinking I'll give up on that while I still have all my parts .
Two animals I will never hunt are wolfs and big cats.... not cause I fear them but because I love them so...

HOLY PELOTAS!! well at least u didnt like shoot me i'm a wild guy, i see anything that moves and every shot in my gun is fired faster then i can say 1,2, etc lol i still yet have to shoot a buck!!! Someone got shot by someone because the guy shot at a target he didn't even know what it was...he didn't realize he had shot a 17 year old until the second shot and the kid was screaming. The guy told the kid he would get him help but he never did he went to someone's birthday party and then to work (this is a 24 year old that shot the kid). He said he didn't want to tell anyone because he thought he'd get into trouble. Now he is facing murder charges. Weird thing is the kid was recording the whole shooting because he was out birdwatching for a school project so the cops watched the whole tape and heard the screams and heard the guy say he would get the kid help. Always know what your shooting at...the firearm's teacher wasn't lying to you when he said be careful with a weapon that can kill people/yourself and be responsible.
