Took the camera out for this trip

Too lazy to take the camera out all year but decided to with this being the possible last ride.

Haven't had the camera out all winter, so thinking this could be the last ride of the year I brought it along.

Went down to a friends in Gordon WI. 40 acres and a mobile home, country living.

We rode forest roads and goat paths the whole day. No ice, dirt, or other snowmobilers the entire day.

Some of the goat paths

Sleds take a lot of abuse out in the back country. My buddies is shoe glued, tip tied, and wired together. His latest run in with a stump left him with wood plug where a plastic one previously resided.

A tree took out his bumper a few weeks back

Secret lake X where paper plate sized crappies swim.

It's also a little over a quarter mile long which makes it a good drag race location. I pumelled my buddies ZL700. Jumped out to a good sled lenght lead and held it to the end of the lake.

He wasn't happy

Alas, all good things must come to an end...abruptly, the 700 ran out of gas.

Oh yea, then the next day we went up to my Mom and Dads. The 'men' went for a toobogin ride.

Then took my dads sled for some ditch running

Shot of the wife and baby. Kids get their good looks from me obviously

We were down by the lake burning brush. Southern exposure on a hill is my guess.

Had a little brush burning here too last week... lost about 40 acres of the woods. Fire dept saved my burn... too bad they drank up the last couple kegs of Genny I had.
Wild fires were no joke last week, thankfully we finally getting some rain.

BTW nice pics, what camera you using?

yoda, the camera is an old kodak 3.2megapixal. We've had it now for about 3 years. I dropped it in a bucket of water last winter and it hasn't quite been the same since. Among other things, I think the picture quality has diminished since the incident.
