The following is from Honda...
American Honda recently advised dealers that its current line of two-stroke motocross machines will be discontinued after the 2007 model year.
“This decision reflects Honda’s commitment to environmental leadership in the markets in which we compete,” stated Honda Motorcycle Division Senior Vice President, Ray Blank.
“U.S. market trends and the success of Honda’s revolutionary Unicam™ four stroke motocross and off-road machines, bolstered by the 2007 CRF150R, make this a logical evolution of our product line.”
The above is from CycleNews.... don't say you are surprised.... I remember saying years ago that the 2 strokes days were numbered. Glad I stuck with the fours.... hehehe

Well this forum actually still has some traffic, good to see. AMA just ruled in the "Fair Class Rule" allowing 250 2 strokes ride with 250 4 strokes. Dumbest rule ever, and they mentioned the reason being to bring back the 2 strokes. AMA will lose huge amounts of support, they did this right after everyone went out and bought their new 4 strokes for next year.

Yes they maybe still racing them but finding places to ride will become harder and harder. And lets face it more MX bikes are bought and never if seldom actually see a moto track than the ones that are bought and raced. Again Honda is the leader of the tread... we'll see what happens in the next few years.
